These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Lanspo mobile application and related public websites (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance
By downloading, accessing or using Lanspo, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be old enough to use the App Store and enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. If you use Lanspo on behalf of someone else, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms for them.
3. Educational purpose
Lanspo is an educational language-learning product. Content is provided to help English speakers practice Neutral Latin American Spanish through reading, study tools, audio and practice features.
4. Fictional sports content
Sports stories and related narrative content in Lanspo are fictional. They are not news reporting, sports results, betting advice or representations of real events, athletes or organizations unless clearly labeled otherwise.
5. No guarantee of language outcomes
Language learning depends on many factors outside our control. We do not guarantee fluency, exam results, specific vocabulary gains or any particular learning outcome from using Lanspo.
6. Account responsibility
You are responsible for activity under your account, including guest or signed-in sessions on your devices. Keep your device and Apple ID secure. Notify us if you believe your account access has been compromised.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misuse the Service or attempt unauthorized access
- Interfere with service integrity, security or availability
- Scrape, reverse engineer or misuse content beyond permitted use
- Use the Service for unlawful, harassing or abusive purposes
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting support
8. User-created notes
You retain ownership of notes and similar content you create in the app. You grant us a limited license to host, store and process that content solely to operate the Service for you. You are responsible for the content of your notes.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including stories, design, trademarks, software and related materials (excluding your user-created notes), is owned by Erdinc Ciftci or our licensors. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial learning. You may not copy, redistribute or exploit Service content except as allowed by these Terms or applicable law.
10. Subscriptions and purchases
Paid features may be offered through Apple In-App Purchases or subscriptions. Pricing, renewals, cancellations and refunds for App Store purchases are handled under Apple’s terms and policies. Manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.
11. Apple standard EULA
If you downloaded Lanspo from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (or the standard Apple EULA then in effect) may also apply. Where Apple’s EULA and these Terms both apply, they should be read together; nothing here is intended to limit non-waivable rights you may have under Apple’s terms or applicable consumer law.
12. Service availability
We aim to keep Lanspo available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or continuous operation. Features may change, be limited by plan, or be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, outages or provider issues.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account as described in the app and on our Account deletion page. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the Service or other users, or if we discontinue the Service.
14. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, except where such disclaimers are not allowed.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Erdinc Ciftci and Lanspo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or learning outcomes arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would require another jurisdiction’s law. Where permitted, courts in Germany have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may give you the right to bring proceedings in your place of residence.
17. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you should review the revised Terms.
