These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Lanspo mobile application and related public websites (together, the “Service”).

1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Lanspo, you agree to these Terms. Please also review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we process personal data. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be old enough to use the App Store and enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. If you use Lanspo on behalf of someone else, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms for them.
3. Educational purpose
Lanspo is an educational language-learning product. It helps you paste Spanish text for line-by-line translation, save lines as notes and flashcards, use study packs, and practise with spaced repetition and related study tools.
4. No guarantee of language outcomes or translation accuracy
Language learning depends on many factors outside our control. We do not guarantee fluency, exam results, specific vocabulary gains or any particular learning outcome from using Lanspo.
Auto Input translations, audio pronunciation and similar language features are provided as learning aids only. We do not claim that any translation, pronunciation or language output is complete, accurate, current or suitable for exams, professional, legal, medical or official use. You are responsible for how you rely on that output.
5. Account responsibility
You are responsible for activity under your account, including guest or signed-in sessions on your devices. Keep your device and Apple ID secure. Notify us if you believe your account access has been compromised.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misuse the Service or attempt unauthorized access
- Interfere with service integrity, security or availability
- Scrape, reverse engineer or misuse content beyond permitted use
- Use the Service for unlawful, harassing or abusive purposes
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting support
- Paste or upload content you are not allowed to use, or that infringes third-party rights
7. User content
You retain ownership of notes, pasted text, flashcards and similar content you create or submit in the app (“User Content”).
By submitting User Content, you confirm that you have the rights needed to paste and use that content in Lanspo, and that it does not infringe third-party rights or violate applicable law.
We may remove or disable User Content where reasonably required because of an infringement claim, a legal obligation, security or abuse risks, or a material violation of these Terms.
8. Licence grant to us (narrow)
You grant Erdinc Ciftci a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process and display your User Content back to you only, solely as needed to operate the Service for your account (including Auto Input translation, flashcards, practice features and eligible audio you request).
This licence is not a grant to use your User Content for model training, publication, advertising, sale, or reuse as another user’s notes or study materials. We do not claim ownership of your User Content.
9. Our content — personal study licence only
The Service, including study packs, design, trademarks, software and related materials (excluding your User Content), is owned by Erdinc Ciftci or our licensors.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use that content for your own personal study inside Lanspo. You may not copy, scrape, redistribute, publicly display, sell, sublicense or otherwise exploit study packs or other Service content outside the app, except as allowed by mandatory law.
10. Subscriptions and purchases
Lanspo may offer paid features through auto-renewable App Store subscriptions. The applicable subscription period, price, free-trial or introductory-offer terms (if any), and features included are shown before purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled in accordance with Apple’s applicable subscription terms. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple account settings.
Purchases and billing are processed through Apple. Refund requests are generally handled through Apple, without limiting any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law.
Deleting your Lanspo account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription.
11. Apple App Store
If you obtain Lanspo through Apple’s App Store, Apple’s applicable App Store terms also apply. Unless a custom EULA is provided for Lanspo through App Store Connect, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the licence to use the app.
These Terms govern the Lanspo service and features to the extent applicable. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under Apple’s applicable terms or mandatory law.
12. Service availability and changes
We may update or change Lanspo where reasonably necessary, for example to improve or develop features, maintain security, comply with legal or regulatory requirements, maintain compatibility with operating systems or third-party services, prevent misuse, or replace technologies or service providers.
Changes will not create additional charges without your agreement. Where applicable law requires advance notice or gives you rights because a change materially affects your access to or use of the Service, those statutory rights remain unaffected.
Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical failures, third-party provider outages or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
13. Termination, suspension and takedown
You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account as described in the app and on our Account deletion page.
We may remove or disable User Content, and may suspend or terminate an account, where reasonably necessary because of a material violation of these Terms, unlawful activity, security or abuse risks, or where we are legally required to do so.
If Lanspo is discontinued, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable. Any mandatory consumer rights relating to paid digital services remain unaffected.
Rights holders may send notices to lanspocom@gmail.com. We may act on notices that reasonably identify the content and the claimed rights. Account deletion does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription; manage that through Apple.
14. Statutory rights
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer law, including statutory rights relating to digital products.
While we work to provide a reliable Service, temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical issues or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
15. Liability
Erdinc Ciftci is liable in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or liability under mandatory product-liability law.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
If you are a consumer and mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence provide you with protections that cannot contractually be excluded, those protections remain unaffected.
Statutory rules concerning jurisdiction apply.
17. Consumer dispute resolution
The European Commission’s former Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform has been discontinued.
We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms where reasonably necessary, for example because of changes to Lanspo, applicable law, security requirements or our business operations.
Where a change materially affects an existing contractual relationship, we will provide notice as required by applicable law. Mandatory rights relating to changes to digital products remain unaffected.
